In 1932, Wallace Marek first established Marek Jewelers in downtown Hartford.   During the 40 years that followed, the store moved to Enfield, where it had three Pearl Street locations before settling in November, 1972 at Stateline Plaza.  Its present address is now at Mountain Laurel Shops, 786 Enfield Street, Route 5, Enfield.
When Wallace Marek retired, his sons Myron and Raymond took over the family business which they now share with their own sons, Scott and Ray Jr.  Marek Jewelers offers a wide selection of gold jewelry, diamonds, birthstones, clocks and gift items.
